Veterans

Supporting our veterans and their families must be a high priority of the federal government. I propose a "G.I. Bill of Rights" for the 21st century:
- Eliminate benefit distinctions between Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard Units serving in current Combat Zones (Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kosovo).
- Increasing funding for psychological treatment of returning soldiers for treatment of post traumatic stress disorder.
- Increasing funding for the Readjustment Counseling Service to reintegrate our veterans into all areas of society.
This combined with Health Care insurance for all Americans will ensure our veterans receive the thanks they so rightly deserve.
